Thank you for visiting Yale Public Schools website and it is our sincere hope that you will make our district your home or continue to entrust us with your child’s education. Whether you’ve spent a few hours in Yale or lived here your whole life, you’ll find that there is something special about this community. As a district, our goal is to provide a caring, supportive, and challenging environment for students to explore their interests and prepare for success after graduation. We diligently work toward these goals with an incredibly dedicated staff, outstanding parents, and our supportive community that values education.

We are very proud to share that two of our elementary schools (Avoca and Farrell-Emmett) have been selected as National Blue Ribbon Schools by the U.S. Department of Education, our M-STEP scores are at the top of St. Clair County has extensive technical and skilled trade offerings with industry certifications through TEC, championship caliber athletics, extensive music programs, robotics, and a spirit of innovation that drives us to continually improve. We also boast hands-on learning with the Geometry in Construction program, Leadership class, Amped Algebra II, Audio/Visual Production, and much more.  We also have full-service early childhood centers, Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) in each elementary building, and young five’s program (Developmental Kindergarten) at Yale Elementary and Farrell-Emmett. 

We encourage our students to explore, create, and innovate as they strive for excellence in all that they do. We also recognize that some of the most important skills and attributes are not always captured with grades. For this reason we emphasize communication, collaboration, problem solving, life skills, and lifelong learning with our Portrait of a Learner. Just as important as the programs that we offer is the attention our staff provides the students with academic, social, emotional, and other needs..
