Mark Hurlburt was appointed to the Yale Board of Education in April 2019 and currently serves as Board Secretary. He resides in Greenwood Township with his wife, Robin, and his two wonderful children, Christopher, a Yale graduate, and Kaitlyn who currently attends Yale Public Schools. Mark and his wife have long demonstrated support for the students of Yale through the development of a non-profit organization called Together for Lunch which helps provide lunches to those in need. Additionally, Mark has been involved as a Youth Archery Coach for several years and helps coach and mentor over one-hundred kids each year.

Mark Hurlburt brings a strong background in informational technology to the Board.  He is a Central Michigan University graduate (Organizational  Administration) and also holds his M.B.A. awarded by Walsh College. He truly believes in being a lifelong learner.

Mark is excited to be part of the Yale Board of Education and is hopeful to continue the strong academic tradition that has been established.
